What to Expect at a Madrigal Dinner
The Madrigal Dinner is a traditional Renaissance-style feast held during the Christmas season. Celebrate the winter feast with us in a festive show of music, food, toasts, and plays!

The Royal Musicians
As the doors open, enjoy festive music from our royal consort of strings and recorders.

The Wassail
Enjoy a hot cider and raise your glasses as we toast to one another, to the old year, and to the year to come. Wassail!

The Boar’s Head
Carrying on the tradition of Medieval English feasts, the boar’s head is presented at the start of our dinner, symbolizing the defeat of evil and the initiation of the feast.

The Plays
Enjoy skits from our royal court during dinner!

The Music
Enjoy festive songs, carols, and madrigals from the Sounds of Providence and our String Orchestra.
