Painting II

Prerequisite: Painting I
Students taking Painting II engage in sequential learning experiences that encompass art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and art production that lead to the creation of high quality paintings. In addition to students experimenting with a wide range of painting mediums (which include ink, watercolor pencils, acrylic, liquid watercolor, oil, spray paint and mixed media) and techniques, they will reflect upon the outcomes of those experiences, explore historical connections, and find direct correlation to other disciplines.
