SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION TO BE IN MOANA JR.
Audition videos can be submitted digitally from February 1 – May 1, 2024. (Auditions received after May 1 will still be included in the show as members of the ensemble!) You can send your audition 1 of 2 ways:
1. Upload your video(s) to Google Drive, and share the video with finearts@guerincatholic.org (preferred)
– If you use this option, you can take multiple videos, put them in one folder, and share that folder with us!
2. Email your video or a link to your video to finearts@guerincatholic.org
What to do in your audition video:
1. Introduce yourself!
(“Hi, my name is _______, I’m ____ years old, and I go to ______ school.)
2. Act out the scene.
Choose Maui or Moana and have someone off camera be your scene partner!
3. Press play on the accompaniment track, and sing us the audition song!
You can choose Maui’s song (“You’re Welcome”) or Moana’s song (“How Far I’ll Go”). Use the practice tracks with vocals to learn, but please use the track with no vocals for your audition! These are audition cuts, so make sure you’re using the version of the songs posted here!

4. Perform the audition dance.
You can stop music after the audition cut or show us more of your dancing skills! Have fun with it!

5. Thank the casting team for their time.

REGISTER WITH CAMP PURPLE
Registration and payment for Moana Jr. will be handled through our Camp Purple website. Registration opens February 1, 2024. We encourage you to register early, as we anticipate this camp will sell out! All campers who are registered for the show will receive a part in Moana Jr.!

The cost for the camp is $400. This includes all show materials, t-shirt, and 2 complimentary tickets to the performances of your choice.
WHAT WE WILL DO AT CAMP
Our Moana Jr. camp will run from 9am – 3pm from June 17-21 and 24-28. At camp, we will work on music, choreography, stage direction, and just have a ton of fun together!
Campers should wear comfortable clothing with close-toed shoes (we will be dancing and on stage!), and bring a lunch and water bottle with them to camp daily.

SHOWTIME!
The camp will conclude with 2 performances of Moana Jr. on June 28 and 2 more performance on June 29.
