Parents of prospective students are invited to join us to meet our Admissions staff, learn about the admissions process, and hear from a current student and members of our faculty and staff. Check-in begins at 5:45 pm and the event begins promptly at 6 pm.

Fall 2025 Testing Dates
October 25, 2025, 8 am – 12 pm
November 8, 2025, 8 am – 12 pm

All 8th grade students applying to Guerin Catholic are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). The HSPT consists of subtests in the areas of Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Reading, Math, and Language. The test results provide our Counseling Department additional insights into each student’s academic abilities to help ensure proper placement into Freshman classes. The test score can also qualify your student for a Guerin Catholic scholarship.

About the Shadow Program

Golden Eagle Shadow Days give 8th graders or transfer students who have applied to Guerin Catholic the opportunity to spend a day with a current GC student, learning what it’s like to be a Golden Eagle! We offer multiple Shadow Days from September through November.
