Theatre Arts

Prerequisite: None
Students will begin to explore and develop an understanding of theatre and the dramatic art. Students will develop acting skills, read and analyze monologues, scenes and plays, create scripts and theatre pieces, and conceive scenic designs through various activities. Students will learn elements of theatre history, culture, analysis, response, the creative process, and integrated studies. The culmination of all skills and knowledge explored and developed in this course will be displayed through an end-of-term scenic performance.
