9 GUERINCATHOLIC.ORG ProvidenceFundDinner Over 500 guests attended this year’s Providence Fund Dinner in September and raised over $475,000 for Guerin Catholic’s annual giving campaign—The Providence Fund. The evening was an amazing celebration of Guerin Catholic’s mission. The transformational power of Guerin Catholic’s culture was on full display as more than half of all students played a role—as student servers, emcee, or performers in GoldenVoice or the orchestra—in executing a magnificent night for the Guerin Catholic community. At the dinner, Wing’s Academy senior Trevor King ’20 shared his experience as the program’s first student expected to graduate in May 2020. Nico Dinglasa ’20 also shared a student witness about the significant influence of Guerin Catholic’s Fine Arts program on his high school experience. Guerin Catholic alumnus Fr. William Summerlin ’11 offered a prayer and reflection, while President John Atha shared a vision for finalizing a strategic plan to guide the school for the next three to five years: Guerin Catholic High School will be accessible, affordable, and available to all, build up the community of believers, evangelize the culture, and serve the common good of society. Thank you to all who have contributed to the mission of Guerin Catholic through the Providence Fund. Money raised through the Providence Fund is used for tuition assistance, teacher compensation, and student life experiences.
