16 IMPACT MAGAZINE • FALL 2019 Kyle Brinkworth ’13 and Annie (Barrett) Brinkworth ’13 NOW THEN Kyle and Annie got to know each other during their junior and senior year IB classes, spending a lot of time together during IB study period their senior year. They began dating shortly after going to prom together. After graduation from Guerin Catholic, they continued to date while Kyle studied at DePaul University in Chicago and Annie went to DePauw University in Greencastle (IN). Six years later, they married at St. Maria Goretti on August 10, 2019. Photographed above is Kyle and Annie’s bridal party which included many Guerin Catholic students— past and present. Lead with Humility, Serve with Love, Trust in Providence. Many are familiar with these words during their time at Guerin Catholic High School. We have seen students and faculty listen to their call into the Sacrament of Priesthood or Religious Life; additionally, there are others who have trusted in God’s Providence through the Sacrament of Matrimony. To take that further, Fine Arts Department Chair Mrs. Beth Wagoner, with the help of Katie (Regan) Gardner ’10 have compiled a list of couples who are both Guerin Catholic graduates and who have wed in the past eight years—21 alumni couples, with another four who are engaged to be married within the next year. Given the fact that Guerin Catholic is in its 16th year, it would be safe to assume that Mother Guerin is at work.
