Guerin Catholic boys basketball alumni gathered in “The Nest” in December 2018 to celebrate the retirement of boys basketball coach Pete Smith, who spent 12 years at Guerin Catholic and led the Golden Eagles to Class 3A titles in 2012 and 2015. Cole Daily ’09 (R) joined fellow alumnus Fr. Will Summerlin ’11 (L) at the Ordination of Priests and Deacons at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Lafayette on June 1. Fr. Summerlin was ordained to the priesthood at the June 2019 ordination and currently serves as a Parochial Vicar at St. Elizabeth Seton in Carmel, IN. Fr. Daily is currently serving St. Lawrence parish in Lafayette, IN. PriesthoodOrdination Guerin Catholic’s Homecoming Weekend on September 27 provided an opportunity for alumni and their families to return to campus for a boys soccer game against Carmel HS, tailgate and football game against Bishop Chatard. Alumni had a special spot to watch the game along the sidelines with faculty and staff in a hospitality tent hosted by the Advancement Office.
