The all-girls choir, Cecilia, visited St. Mary’s College (Notre Dame, Ind.) to participate in the 35th Annual Treble Choir Festival on November 22, 2019. The group also toured the University of Notre Dame with prayer at the Grotto, dinner, and Mass at the Basilica with Notre Dame President Fr. John Jenkins. This past October, over 75 students participated in the student-led production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid under the direction of Guerin Catholic seniors Adam Van Atter and Anthony Vaiana. A smaller version of the cast hit the road to visit partner elementary schools and perform a few scenes. Save the dates for Guerin Catholic’s winter play, 1984, scheduled to take place in the cafetorium each night from January 16-18, 2020, and the spring musical Seussical on March 12-14 and 19-21, 2020. StudentStudio Cecilia@St.Mary’s The Fine Arts Department once again wowed the crowds with their Annual IB Art show at the Indiana Design Center in Downtown Carmel last winter. The show featured amazing exhibits from the very talented Guerin Catholic art students. The event also included live music from Sounds of Providence and Guerin Catholic’s string quartet. IBArtShow KeyAwards Guerin Catholic had numerous representatives for The Key Awards that were on display at Clowes Hall on Butler University’s campus this past March.
