Guerin Catholic ranks #1 in the state of Indiana for number of students participating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. While the IB program cultivates internationalism and respect for other cultures, it also adapts to the local environment and allows students to maintain a strong sense of cultural identity. Students are taught to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged citizens, who gain practical experience of being part of an international community. IB Diploma Coordinator Mrs. Meaghan Neman, states: “The IB Programme at Guerin Catholic integrates beautifully with the goals of Catholic education. While seeking to produce informed, faith-filled graduates, we also want them to be critical thinkers looking at the world with an eye for change, not complacence.” Classof2016 Golden Eagle Sculpture A solid bronze Golden Eagle, sculpted by well-known wildlife sculptor Mike Curtis, was installed next to “The Nest,” Guerin Catholic’s football field, in August 2017.
