One of the most powerful philosophies at Guerin Catholic is this: “It is dangerous to form a child’s God given intellect without introducing the child to God.” WHY? Because if we are introduced to God credibly by men and women who model the faith, there is a good chance we can learn from them what it means to become what God created us to be. In this issue of IMPACT Magazine, I am so proud to be able to point to the above truth and say it is in action at Guerin Catholic! What better model of our faith than St. Teresa of Calcutta? How blessed we were to be able to lead a mission trip to her Canonization! Joey started at GC in our very first year in 2004 and is now an educator at the school.
