PARENT GUILD/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Parent Guild
Every parent is a member of the Guerin Catholic Parent Guild. If you would like more information on how you can be more involved, please email Karen Corken, Parent Guild President at Corkenmom3@gmail.com. Some of our upcoming activites that welcome more volunteers are listed below:

* Tuesday Treat Program: Our Tuesday Treat Program is the staff's favorite thing! Every Tuesday, the staff gets to enjoy treats sent in by parent volunteers. The treat you send in is your choice..any baked goods, fruit, snack bars...they love it all! Each volunteer is put on a schedule to donate once per month. On your assigned day, all you do is send your snack to school with your student. It is that easy! * Staff Appreciation Committee: Parent volunteers are always needed for our Staff Appreciation Committee. The parents on this committee donate food for the staff on many events, such Progress Report Nights, Holiday Breakfast, Teacher Appreciation Day. There are many ways to help with this committee even if you do not have time to cook or bake. Anyone interested in helping or needing more information, please contact Lisa VanDeLaarschot at lisav@indy.rr.com or (317) 566-0474.

* Social Committee: Like to decorate for dances and events? Contact Karen Corken at Corkenmom3@gmail.com

* Commencement Committee: Any senior parent interested in working on the commencement committee please contact Rosemary Noel (Puza) at (317) 846-1101 or t.puza@sbcglobal.net. Members of the Commencement Committee help organize the Baccalaureate Mass and Dinner as well as the Commencement Ceremony and lock-in.

The Birthday Club
This is the inaugural year for the Guerin Catholic Birthday Club. Parents will have the opportunity to place their students name in the Student Assignment Notebook on their Birthday. The cost is $10 per listing and forms will be mailed next week or you can find them on the Guerin Catholic by clicking here. Deadline is April 25. Questions? Email Karen Corken, Corkenmom3@gmail.com.
