Spring Cleaning
While you are cleaning out your closets, drawers and storage rooms, don’t throw away all of those old electronics that no longer work or nobody ever uses! Send them in to Guerin to have them recycled and help raise money for the school. They will be recycled using eco-friendly methods. The ONLY electronics we accept are cell phones, laptops, iPods, digital cameras, and camcorders PLUS, we are now accepting held game systems (all varieties of Nintendo and Sony PSP), GPS devices, radar detectors, eBook readers and graphing calculators. They do not have to be working.
Parents who work for a business that uses inkjet and/or laser cartridges can help support Guerin Catholic by having the used cartridges shipped to the Funding Factory for recycling. Prepaid labels are provided so shipping is free. Information is available at http://www.etcep.com/ or by contacting Carolyn DeFelippis at defelippis@sbcglobal.net.
We are still collecting Campbell’s Labels for Education.
Clip and save labels from any eligible Campbell product and send them into school. Look for the “Labels for Education” symbol on the label. Labels may be dropped off at the front office.

The Guerin Catholic Parent Guild is a volunteer group that provides informational, organizational, and supportive help to our Guerin community. The Guild has many different committees that support our faculty, students and parents. We raise money throughout the year to support student activities as well as purchase items for teachers that are not always in the budget. We have committees that require help a few times a month and others that need volunteers only once a year. The time commitment is entirely up to each individual. The list below provides details about each committee. Become active in our Guerin community; consider volunteering for a Parent Guild committee. It is a wonderful way to meet parents, students and faculty. Please review below the descriptions of each committee and board position, download the volunteer form and sign up today!
We hold meetings once a month and everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting dates are listed on the “News & Events” tab. We hope to see you there! If you would like more information about the Parent Guild, please contact Joan Eicher @ joan.eicher@gmail.com.
