Every Gift Makes a Difference

Education is expensive.  While Guerin Catholic is able to provides an excellent education at a lower cost per student than public schools but it still costs $10,900 to educate each student at Guerin Catholic.  With Guerin Catholic awarding more than $800,000 in tuition assistance annually, the average tuition and fees collected per student is approximately $7,900.00.  This leaves a significant gap between revenue and expenses. The only way a Catholic high school can exist is by creating successful fund raising campaigns that close the gap between our revenue (tuition and fees) and our expenses (the cost of education).  In addition to events and designated gifts, the Guerin Catholic Annual Fund helps bridge this gap.  This year’s goal is $350,000.  Whether your gift is $50,000 or $50 every gift makes a difference.  Please prayerfully consider your support of the Guerin Catholic Annual Fund.

$40,000 – Half of IB program costs
$25,000 – Partial tuition assistance for five students
$11,000 – License for Angel educational software 
$5,000 – Classroom teacher for one month
$2,500 – Workshop or class for a faculty member
$1,000 – Learning Differences program for one student
$500 – Communion hosts for all Masses
$100 – Reference book for the Media Center
$70 – Referee for one athletic event
