Annual Golf Outing
This year, the players in the Guerin Golf Outing went to Purgatory Golf Club to take part in the annual tournament that raised more than $30,000 for the School. This year’s tournament, sponsored by Mainscape and St. Vincent saw golfers attempting to score a hole-in-one on the par-3 holes and win a set of golf clubs, Infiniti G35, Yamaha Roadster or Waverunner, and while some came close, no one found themselves a proud owner of any of these items.

Team GSA Investments, led by Gary Aletto, captured the first place trophey, with Dave Mazanowski's Team Mainscape finishing second. Coca-Cola claimed third place. Special thanks to committee members Dave Mazanowski, Chris Denari, Lee Smolen, and Mark Wojda.

The Guerin Catholic High School Golf Outing benefits the school's Scholarship Fund, support of this event help to ensure that the School can support its students through need-based financial assistance and academic scholarships.

The 2008 Guerin Golf Outing will take place on August 5 and will be held at Purgatory Golf Course. Tee time is set for noon. More information will be posted soon!

Annual Bishop's Dinner
The Annual Bishop's Dinner was held on February 1, 2008 at the Oak Hill Mansion. The evening was a celebration of Catholic School's week and the Catholic Honor Roll. Mike Bursaw, Mike Pratt and Deborah Wood were awarded the St. Theodore Guerin award for their commitment to the school's mission.

Annual Guerin Gala
The Guerin Gala is an annual event held in the spring that benefits Guerin Catholic High School's Academic Fund and Athletic Programs. The evening includes dinner, entertainment and silent and live auctions. The 2007 Gala raised more than $120,000 to help these programs, which included generating revenue to help fund the lighting for the fine arts programs.

The 2008 Gala will be held at The Ritz Charles on Saturday, May 10. Several individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact Fr. Dale Ehrman if you are interested in sponsoring or attending this event.

Annual Men's College Basketball Calcutta
The annual Men's College Basketball Calcutta is an event to raise money specifically for the Golden Eagles' athletic programs. This informal event coincides with the men's collegiate basketball tournament. The 2008 Calcutta will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Bridgewater Country Club. All individuals over the age of 21 are welcome to attend. Please contact Greg Schellhase, Athletic Director, at gschellhase@guerincatholic.org if you are interested in attending this event.

Guerin Catholic Open House
The annual Open House will be held on November 11, 2007. This event gives prospective 6th-8th grade students the opportunity to learn more about Guerin Catholic High School, to meet the faculty and staff, to participate in a student-led tour of the school and for prospective parents to meet current Guerin parents. In addition, prospective students and parents have the chance to take home information from various clubs and athletic programs and to meet the sponsors and coaches.
