SPIN COMMITTEE

The SPIN (Student/Parent Information Network) is an excellent way for our parents to support one another in caring for our children. Any questions about the committee, please contact Diane Reardon at dianereardon@yahoo.com. The St. Theodore Guerin SPIN Committee has finished taking SPIN Pledges and those who signed will be noted in the directory.  Also, we are planning a convocation for the kids on Tuesday Oct. 23 at 2:30 pm. The purpose of the convocation will be talk about the dangers of information put out on the internet, particularly Face Book and My Space. Such things will be discussed as how colleges and potential employers are reviewing students information and college entrance or job procurement may be compromised. That same day, October 23rd, there will be a meeting for parents at 7pm. The Title of the Topic is "It's 10 pm. Do you know what web site your child is on?" It will be put on by the same people putting on the afternoon convocation, an officer from the Noblesville police department who specializes in internet crimes and an FBI agent.
