PEER TUTORING

Peer tutoring is open for business! This program is for Guerin students, by Guerin students. Our aim is to help students who missed a key concept or have a week foundation in a subject and need a little help to get them back on track. We have student peer tutors available every day during Kairos, where students with experience in the course are available to review concepts and answer specific questions.

It will work best if a regularly scheduled meeting (weekly?) can be arranged between your student and the peer tutor to review the concepts and be sure he is understanding what he needs to do well on the quizzes and tests.

This can be arranged by sending an e-mail to Jeanine Conklin at jconklin@guerincatholic.org with the following information:

Name of Student
Tutoring Subject
Can you come to Kairos tomorrow

If your student seems to need more than this, I would recommend he/she get a private tutor, which the Guidance office would be able to help you with. Please let me know if you have any questions.
