 Academic Scholarship
To provide students the opportunity to be awarded scholarship based on their achievements in middle school Guerin Catholic offers academic scholarships. There are two types of scholarships offered: An Academic Scholarship, which totals $6,000 ($1500 per year) to be used over a four-year period, and a Presidential Scholarship, which totals $10,000 ($2500 per year) to be used over a four-year period. To be eligible for these academic scholarships, prospective students must take the High School Placement Test on October 20, 2007 or December 1, 2007, write an essay and submit the Academic Portfolio that is part of the application process. Admission Process

Prospective students and interested parents are invited to tour our campus and meet members of the Guerin Catholic community. Along with our Welcome Program and reception, you will have the opportunity to attend sessions on Academics & Curriculum, Financial Aid, Athletics & Co-Curricular Offerings, and Student Service & Leadership
Placement Test
All eighth grade students applying for admission to Guerin Catholic High School are required to take the High School Placement Test. This test will help us validate a student’s readiness and proper placement into classes. Advanced registration for the High School Placement Test is requested by calling the Admission’s Office at 317.582.0120 ext. 279. Students should arrive at Guerin Catholic no later than 8:30 a.m. Click here to fill out the online form.
Test Dates:
Saturday, October 20, 2007* — 8:30 a.m.-noon
Saturday, December 1, 2007* — 8:30 a.m.-noon
Saturday, March 15, 2008 — 8:30 a.m.-noon
 Testing site will be at Guerin Catholic High School, 15300 Gray Road, Noblesville, IN 46062.
Students should bring two #2 pencils with them. Guerin Catholic will supply the rest of the materials. They are not allowed to use calculators or dictionaries for any portion of the test.
If a student has accommodations due to a learning challenge, that student must submit his/her Individual Education Plan (IEP) prior to taking the test.
* To be considered for a Guerin Catholic Academic Scholarship,
students must take either the Oct. 20th or Dec. 1st test. |
