Guerin Catholic uses Canvas as our Learning Management System. Teachers set up each course in Canvas to deliver a syllabus, assignments, course content, weblinks, course calendar, and grades. Parents may access Canvas to view their student’s course information by creating their own user ID and password using the attached instructions. Please note, you must know your student’s User ID and Password to set up a Parent Account in Canvas.

Free and Reduced Lunch
Guerin Catholic High School does not participate in the National School Lunch Program. However, we will honor and support those families who qualify for free and/or reduced lunches under the Federal income eligibility guidelines. (Spanish Version).
If your family would like to apply for assistance, please complete the attached 2015-2016 Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals (Spanish Version) and submit the completed forms to the accounting office or scan and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. As stated, eligibility for participation will follow the same Income Eligibility Guidelines that are used by schools that do participate in the National School Lunch Program.
If your family qualifies under the Income Eligibility Guidelines for free or reduced lunches, your student’s eligible lunch will be the Comfort Zone Meal Deal. This lunch will include the main entrée, one side dish, fruit and a milk or water. No substitutes are allowed. Other items that the student would like to purchase – in other zones or a la carte – are not eligible under the school’s free and reduced program and will be required to be paid for by the student at the time of purchase.

The textbook list is organized by department and lists the name, publisher and copyright/edition of the needed books for each class. It is important that students obtain the correct edition of the textbook; different editions contain different readings, problems or examples.
Our new online bookstore, MBS Direct, has many e-text and rental optionsavailable for our required texts. (See purchasing textbooks below.) There may be other e-text options than the ones listed on the Textbook list and if students can determine that the content is the same, they are welcome to use them. iPads, Kindles and other e-readers can be used in the classroom.
